On November 11, 2016, SIFANG’s complete set of digital substation devices in Semen Baru Substation, Indonesia, is accepted by State Electric Company of Indonesia-Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) successfully. The Semen Baru Substation is the first digital substation sample project in Indonesia. SIFANG is responsible for the drawing approval, device installation, civil engineering, panel wiring, device testing and provides digitization theory instruction and training on IEC 61850 2.0 for maintenance area managers.
The successful acceptance and operation of the digital substation project has further improved the efficiency, safety and reliability of the grid largely. It opens up a new chapter for overseas digital substation construction and lays solid foundation for the promotion of SIFANG’s digital product.
