On January 26, 2016, APPOLLO Steel Corporation (APPOLLO) in Bangladesh and SIFANG signed a contract on “High Voltage STATCOM Project". It is SIFANG’s first set of STATCOM device of high voltage and large capacity for export.
The STATCOM developed independently by SIFANG is applied widely in metallurgy, steel, chemical industry, coal and electricity, etc. Its high performance and excellent technical solution contribute to the order from APPOLLO. The application of SIFANG’s STATCOM will help the project implementation company save energy and increase production.
For SIFANG, the cooperation with APPOLLO in Bangladesh opens the overseas market in industrial energy saving and lays a solid foundation for the sustainable cooperation of both parties in multi-fields in the future.
